As an avid reader and a huge movie fanatic, it’s been a habit of mine to read the book first before watching the film adaptation; for the reason that there are certain things from the novel which cannot be fully put into detail in the movie. Making it a bit hard to understand or grasp some aspects of the film unless you’ve read the book. So every year, I tend to put up a list of books that are being turned into a movie.
So here are the following film adaptations that I’ am very much looking forward to watch this year:
1. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James
STORY: When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.
MAIN CAST : Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steel, and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey.
